Well, aside from the fact that we all love Tony Danza…this NFL spot. We recorded a cover of “You Don’t Own Me” which is featured in the ad, along with the beautiful Alyssa Milano and her women’s wear clothing line, Touch! The track was produced by J Dynamite & Clay Holley for Truth & Soul Productions in Brooklyn. Those guys are incredible! Check it out and let us know what you think!

Nice respectful and edgy modernization of the Lesley Gore classic. I heard it on the commercial and liked the retro guitar sound. Knowing the song I went to look for it on itunes and downloaded the Lesley Gore version, then said to myself “nope, that aint it!” Too dated and cheesy from that era! Finally found out who you are and like everything I hear. Gotta get this track out there though, and strike while the iron is hot!

It’s amazing!! Where is the full version? I can’t beleive it hasn’t been released as a single. Huge mistake! One of the best remakes I have ever heard. The music is spot on and Aprils voice is sexy, strong, and dynamic. PLEASE come to New Orleans.

Every now and then someone tries to bring back a old track from another artist with hope it’s a hit. I believe you have done it with “You Don’t Own Me”. Excellent remake!

This song is absolutely amazing!!! A wonderful update on the original song. It shows off the more asserted strength & girl power side of this song!

Is there a particular person or “Powers That Be” at the NFL that we fans can start bugging about being able to get the full version of your song from then?
Or will you be possibly be redoing it again and putting it out yourselves?
